I started making soy candles in the summer of 09. I love candles, but not the chemicals they use in paraffin wax. I also used to find that I could not get pillar candles to burn properly and was constantly throwing them out before they had burned to the end. Well, in their defense, I now know about the importance of “burn pool and wick trimming”. However, I liked the idea of Soy Candles enough to learn how to make them. It took about three months to figure it out believe it or not. It’s not as easy as you might think. But, that’s the beauty of being able to provide them on my on-line store – all you have to is place an order and I’ll hand pour a beautiful candle just for you and send it to your door.
Each candle comes with its own lid. Even while your candle is not burning, it will give off a pleasant scent. If someone is sensitive to aromas, simply keep the lid on when not in use. Keeping the lid on (when not in use) also helps retain the scent in the wax. I also make unscented candles for those of you with sensitivities.
Each Soy Candle contains: Eco Soy Xcel blend wax, HTP unleaded wicks and fragrance oil.
